New Ant Queen (Embera Incendia)! Solenopsis Invicta!
**Episode 1: A Spark in the Vitrinae**
In the heart of a realm vast as a planet yet confined to transparency, Embera Incendia found her sanctuary. This realm, named "Vitrinae", was an unchartered territory, a delicate dome of crystaline expanse. Its curvature softly diffused the light that entered, casting an ethereal glow on its lone occupant.
Vitrinae was her fortress and her home, a gift from an unseen benefactor whose tender care for her kind was as vast as the cosmos. Nestled within the heart of Vitrinae, Embera discovered a tranquil oasis - a mysterious fount, kept at bay by a soft barrier, as white and gentle as cumulus clouds. The taste of the oasis's bounty, a source of endless vitality, quenched her deepest thirsts.
Embera was not just a mere inhabitant of Vitrinae. She was its queen, the spark that would ignite a dynasty. Her subjects? Yet to be born, but full of potential. She was pregnant with hope, each egg within her a promise of the future. It was an unspoken pact between her and the unborn. She would be their first universe, their nourisher, their sun.
She was prepared to offer them sustenance, forged from her own essence, the primordial "nectar" that would be their bridge to life. This first gift of life would pave the path for her tiny heirs to evolve, from mere larvae to industrious workers, to maintain the harmony of Vitrinae and ensure the survival of their dynasty.
However, the fruition of this intricate life cycle hinged on the fertility of Embera, the spark at the core of this embryonic civilization. Time would bear the truth of her fecundity. For now, all that could be done was to wait, in hope and anticipation.
Vitrinae lay still in the silence of the cosmos, its walls pulsating with the heartbeat of Embera, the tiny queen with a colossal task. Her fortress was ready, the stage was set, and Embera Incendia was prepared for the dawn of her brood.
Under her reign, this embryonic spark would grow into a blazing nation, fueling the flame of existence within the crystal walls of Vitrinae. The fragile beginnings, wrapped in hope and trepidation, held the promise of a tale as old as time - the relentless pursuit of life.

THESE ARE INVASIVE!
You do know that you're supposed to squish those
Nevermind I see you dont answer!
Do you float it in the tank or just let it sit out somewhere?
Hows it going? Still doing the daphnia? This is a pretty cool idea wondering what 5 years has changed!😊
They destroy plants
can you give me a link in your pump please I need to find me a decent pump
Scuds, daphnia, and other microfuana thrive in green water. Thats what they eat. If you grow them out in ur filters too there bigger size of 1" its free fish food, also preventing green water
Can't believe 7 years ago was 2017
this setup is really inspiring cheers mate
Very cool thanks for sharing
Great idea!
Thanks!! Getting more designs and connectors done :) Coming up with some fun stuff!
my queen ant actually hatched a lot of workers today and the workers are still trying to harden
Aquamax 300
This is such a cool video! Really well done! Please let me know what you are feeding them.
Thank you Erik! As of now I am feeding them some sort of bug and cat food believe it or not. They are not picking at all🙌🏼
never thought about that..guess cat or dog food would b good..moisture fat protein(if natural)...🤔
My cat food is high in protein👍🏼
Nice your gonna have a colony in no time if she keeps laying eggs like this
Heading to bed now and I had a quick look and there are 3 more workers! Looks like my colony of Pheidole Hyatti is getting started now🙌🏼

I did also create this longer video (ua-cam.com/video/GJEy3SMsAGI/v-deo.html) that actually has a story about this ant, queen and I think I’m going to name her Scarlet Majesty😊 Read the story in the description, and let me know what you think on the video!

What type of queen ant is she? What type of ant
I think she is a Solenopsis Geminata! I’m not sure though, because I have some better video of her and she has kind of a weird design on her abdomen. Let me post the full video:)

I wish my mystery snails would lay eggs
They will eventually!! Sorry for such a late reply. If you get a chance, have a look at my new ant Queen Scarlet Majesty. She just laid a clutch of eggs and her kingdom is beginning. Check the video description for Episode 1 of her kingdoms humble beginnings! ua-cam.com/video/GJEy3SMsAGI/v-deo.html&feature=shareb
unwatchable with the music, but great system.
Why not just put the snails in it while the water falls on top just wondering ?
I had a volunteer job killing apple snail eggs , feels like crushing a raspberry between your fingers , not pleasant
Kill them things! And dont send them anywhere!
under 18 so your saying a 15 year old cant put holes in a plastic container or use a glue gun ???.?
What do you call that pipe cutter?
If that's an apple snail it will lay a clutch two times a week, just scrape them off. If the clutches get wet they die as well.
Pretty man, Pretty idea, Any result update video, Garbage video, Garbage channel. Unfortunately.
Snails dont destroy the plants, its a common misconception. They only eat decaying matter of the plant, and actually produce waste that will eventually be used by plants as nutrition. Snails will only eat plants if you starve them and dont provide any other food. Hope this helps
Do you know why some apple snails lay white or pink eggs?
Eeew but wow wow wow soooooo eeeeeeew
Yum pop rocks
I live on the Inter Coastal Waterway in South Carolina. I found a snail the size of my fist and put in my outdoor minnow tank. Researching, I learned that it’s a Canyon Apple Snail, an invasive species . Voracious eaters , they eat shoreline plants contributing to erosion. Now I see them almost every day.
I would crush the eggs
cute snails
Hydroponics, what a waste of time. Eat the fish or graze cows.
Hay quá cám ơn kênh
That is so Cool
Big head video. lol
Is it true they are poisonous and invasive?
yes
my friends said its a berry and eat it XD
